Special Olympics Free Throw Challenge

For the second consecutive year, the Storm and Kaiser Permanente worked together to raise money for Special Olympics Washington. At five games this season, unified pairs took the court and each attempted to make a free throw in :45 seconds. If both contestants made their free throw, Kaiser Permanente donated $1,500 to Special Olympics Washington.

Over the course of the 2019 season, all five unified pairs made their free throws, contributing to a $7,500 donation from Kaiser Permanente benefiting Special Olympics Washington and their programs.
