The Storm and Kaiser Permanente held a free Community Practice at Tyee High School in SeaTac, WA on Tuesday, July 30. Hosted by City of SeaTac and Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority, this kid-friendly event gave local youth the chance to interact with their favorite Storm players up close and join in on their practice emceed by Shellie Hart. Kids also participated in games and contests. This event provided a chance to win prizes, receive autographs from Storm players and Doppler, and watch the Storm Dance Troupe perform on court.
Kaiser Permanente handed out free t-shirts, basketballs, and other goodies to the first 250 people in attendance. All participants received tickets to Seattle’s home game on August 25th against the Indiana Fever in celebration of StormFit Night presented by Kaiser Permanente.
