Community Practice

Last year, Storm fans had the chance to meet and play basketball with the Storm players, Doppler, and the Dance Troupe at the Kaiser Permanente Community Practice, hosted by City of SeaTac and Seattle Southside at Tyee High School. Kaiser Permanente handed out free t-shirts, water bottles, and snacks while the Storm players brought youth onto the court to engage them in a kid-friendly practice.

This year, the Storm and Kaiser Permanente are happy to present the Seattle Storm Community Practice in SeaTac, WA. Hosted by City of SeaTac and Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority, the event gives local youth the chance to see Storm players up close and personal and join in on their practice, emceed by Shellie Hart. Kids can also participate in games and contests, win prizes, receive autographs from Storm-players and Doppler, and see performance by the Storm Dance Troupe. Kaiser Permanente will hand out free t-shirts and basketballs. The Storm will giveaway tickets to Seattleā€™s home game on August 17 against the New York Liberty for StormFit Night presented by Kaiser Permanente. No registration is required to participate in the Community Practice!
