This is the Storm’s third year partnering with the King County Library System in support of their long-standing summer reading program. New for 2018, the Storm has expanded its reach and is also partnering with the Pierce County Library System’s summer reading program to encourage summer reading all throughout the local area.
By providing complimentary tickets as an incentive to commit to reading over the summer, the Storm motivates thousands of children to focus some of their free time in the summer on reading, learning and sparking their imagination through literature.
In 2017, almost 30,000 students completed 500 minutes of summer reading and were eligible for the incentive. The Storm hosted over 13,000 attendees from the program.
To get signed up, visit your nearest King County Library or Pierce County Library starting on June 1st.
